Alpha CRC's team of localization engineers cater to the production of audio visual presentation and a variety of online media.
We are able to handle a wide variety of video & audio recording requirements for our clients. We have a fully-equipped state-of-the-art recording studio and a comprehensive database of professional voice talent in all languages. Our Project Managers have many years' experience of audio recording for multimedia and games. They are experienced in all aspects of the process, from extracting scripts as part of a localization kit to recording and editing translated text. Our recording experience includes audio for games and multimedia software, voiceovers for corporate presentations and voice prompts for speech recognition software and telecommunications companies.
Alpha commissions voice talent from a pool of professionals covering more than 30 languages. As well as our in-country connections, the large majority of our A/V work can be undertaken in London, easily accessible for our project managers and professional translators who oversee the session.
Sessions take place in state-of-the-art voice to picture facilities equipped with Avid Xpress and DigiDesign ProTools. There are 4 studios at our disposal in just one location, so that multi-lingual recording projects may be scheduled in parallel and project managers, language experts and customers may attend together to eliminate problems and resolve questions.
Live telephone feeds are also possible.
Post production occurs at our offices in Cambridge, where there is also the facility for small scale recording sessions, even voice to picture. Post production includes down-sampling, frequency manipulation, voice to picture, lip-synching, music soundtracks, web-site preparation.
