Alpha CRC Barcelona
We opened our Barcelona production centre in January 2003. This was the result of an ongoing growth in demand for Alpha CRC services from new and existing customers, which in turn created a need to increase our in-house production capacity.
Alpha CRC Barcelona currently has a team of 35, including administration staff, Project Managers, Engineers and DTP. Our in-house translation team covers French, Italian, German, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese. For these languages we can carry out the complete localization process under one roof, giving us complete control over the quality and delivery of our clients' projects.
Major clients serviced from our Barcelona office include Sun Microsystems, Digidesign and Autodesk.
How to find us
Alpha CRC Barcelona is located close to the prestigious avenue Passeig de Gràcia in the city's L'Eixample district.
From the airport, take the Airbus to Plaça Catalunya (the last stop) or a train direct to Plaça Catalunya. A taxi from the airport costs around 20 euro.

Toni Beltrán, General Manager
Toni is a localization professional with many years' experience in the business. He has spent 14 years working with some of the most established names in the multilingual communications industry. Toni has a degree in French and Spanish from Middlesex Polytechnic, UK.
Silvia Vallejo, Head of Project Management, Barcelona
Born in Barcelona, Silvia has built her professional career working for software localization companies based in the city. Since 1996 she has worked in production-related roles within the industry. Silvia has a degree in Linguistics and Literature from the University of Barcelona.
Jorge Oliva, Head of Engineers
Jorge has 10 years experience in the localization business during which he has been involved with software and help compilation, preparation of files and testing.
Pilar Andrés, Head of DTP
Pilar has worked in the in the localization business for 13 years. Her experience includes software and help compilation, formatting of manuals, graphics and coordinating a team of DTP operators.
Peter Werthmann, German Language Manager
Peter has broad experience in translation, not only in IT and Marketing, but also journalism, telecommunications and adult training. He coordinates a team of five staff and translates from English, French and Russian into German.
Guido Aluigi, Italian Language Manager
Guido coordinates a team of three people and translates from English, Spanish and French into Italian. He has been in the localization business for more than 10 years and before joining Alpha worked in Italy and Ireland.
Elodie Dexpert, French Language Manager
Elodie translates from English and Spanish into French and coordinates a team of six translators. She has been in the localization business since 1996 and has worked in France, England and Ireland.
Paquita Martín, Spanish Language Manager
Paquita coordinates a team of four translators and started her career in localization six years ago. She translates from English and French into Spanish and International Spanish.
