The Italian office handles localization projects primarily into Italian, but also serves Italian customers in their globalization efforts. Initially set up in 1992, the office has grown to a team of 11 project managers and translators.

Key management personnel

Lorenzo Cassani

Lorenzo Cassani,
Office Manager

Lorenzo is responsible for our Italian operations, including business development and engineering. He has deep knowledge of translation tools, workflows and file formats. A graduate of the Bologna Scuola Superiore Interpreti e Traduttori, Lorenzo has more than 10 years of experience in the Medical, IT and manufacturing industries.

Lucia Pettinati

Lucia Pettinati,
Head of Production

A native of Genoa, Lucia manages our in-house translators and project managers in Italy. Lucia holds a degree in translation from Genoa’s Scuola Superiore Interpreti e Traduttori. She also studied translation at Université de Haute Bretagne in Rennes, France. For the past 12 years, Lucia has led translation and localization teams into Italian for numerous clients.

Roberta Detassis

Roberta Detassis,
Project Management

After graduating in Economics from La Sapienza University in Rome, Roberta worked for 15 years as a software analyst before specializing in managing localization projects. She now specializes in medical equipment localization and IT-related jobs and serves many clients around the world.
