Alpha celebrates 20 years of success

Alpha CRC Ltd celebrated its 20th anniversary on 13 September 2007 with a party for Cambridge staff past and present in the Great Hall and Combination Room at Homerton College, Cambridge. The event, hosted by directors Isabelle Weiss, Dr Peter Nash and Paul Mangell, was designed to thank everyone who has contributed to the company's success during its first 20 years for their support and dedication.

The evening started with an al fresco drinks reception, accompanied by a strolling magician and roving caricaturist, before moving inside for a buffet, live music and dancing. The buffet featured cuisine from England, Spain and China to reflect the locations of Alpha's three production centres, and was followed by foot-tapping live sets from jazz soloist, Ava Brown, and local band, The Reverbs, whose line-up includes Alpha's very own Paul Mangell.

The party was enjoyed by all in attendance, and will be followed by a further celebration in Barcelona in October.
